Cornell Black Lawyers Alumni Network Elects New Executive Board Members
New York, New York—Cornell Black Lawyers Alumni Network (CBLAN) is pleased to announce the election of Natalya Johnson (BA‘07, JD ‘10) as president at its annual general body meeting held on January 26, 2018. Other new board members elected at the meeting include Russell Franklin (BA‘04) as treasurer and Brenda Ward (JD ‘13) as secretary. Members also elected three at-large members: Dean Burrell (BS ‘79), Leslie Richards-Yellen (JD ‘84), and Laura Wilkinson (MBA ‘85, JD ‘86). Ernest Eric Elmore (AB ‘86, JD ‘89) will serve as immediate past president. At the board meeting held on March 19, 2018, the executive board elected Brian Sylvester (JD ‘08) as vice president. The executive board members will hold their respective positions for the next two years.
