About Me
Cassandra Aquart is a former restructuring attorney who fuses her strong analytical, investigative, and writing skills with her passion for storytelling. She helps organizations and executives break through the clutter by finding the perfect language to capture their personality and clearly convey their message. Additionally, Cassandra enjoys writing about travel destinations, health & wellness, lifestyle, and law-related topics.
Prior to her communications and writing career, Cassandra worked for over a decade as an attorney, during which time she immersed herself in research and authored numerous legal opinions and documents. As an attorney, she was trained to write in a clear and concise manner and to never play fast and loose with the facts because your credibility will suffer. This is a lesson that is still deeply rooted in her to this day.
Now, Cassandra is leveraging her top-notch legal training and creative thinking into a career in communications and writing. As a strategic communicator, Cassandra writes biographies, profiles, blog posts, press releases, and content marketing articles for organizations and edits business documents for high-level executives. Cassandra is also a contributing writer at New York Family magazine where she writes features and articles spotlighting the latest travel destinations, highlighting family-friendly programs and activities, and enlightening readers on topics such as Orthokeratology—and everything in between.
With an engaging writing style that is interwoven with insight and sprinkled with wit—and always grounded in fact—readers are entertained, informed, and inspired. And given her legal background, Cassandra can digest complex information and concepts and present them in a way that’s appropriate for broad audiences and sophisticated professionals. What’s more, her keen eye for detail—she was once dubbed “eagle eye”—helps her edit and proofread voluminous documents to perfection.
When Cassandra is not mulling over the correct word for a story, you can catch her spending time with her family and friends, watching sports, thumbing through magazines, and dreaming about her next exotic vacation.
